So We Get Together

Sunday we had another one of our patented King family get together. Per usual, the occasion was cenetered around the return of my cousin Candice from the Navy. Fortunately she won’t be gone much longer.. as she returns to Texas (for good) in October. :)

So as our family Dad is notorious for, he threw down on the Grill…

Multiple Times…

We made sure that as many pigmented people as possible arrived… As they either enjoyed themselves in the pool…

Or at the Domino Table

As I took pictures of other people taking pictures, I realized a couple of things…

One, I’m grateful that as a family we can do things like this without tension and drama… and also:

She didn’t want to go home.

Song of the Week: Cherie

Finally! Cherie is getting out there on her own and doing big things in Austin… making a couple of performances outside of the Ransom Notes. Honestly, I’m very excited for her, and hopes she makes it BIG… But anyway, If you’re in the Austin area,to see her perform, go to the Parish Room @ 9 PM Tomorrow! Also check out her website and myspace page

Anyways here is a Cherie song, that yours truly wrote & produced… Called Beauty Personified

Song of the Week

Your friendly, neighborhood, resident Super Producer KingNation is back in Irving over the summer. So I figure that its only right that I set up my blog while I have some much needed time off from school. I’ll have Podcasts, special guests, and all sorts of great little things to spice this place up. But, for the time being, Its still under construction, so sue me if you please.

Anyways, my first Song of the Week is Dance Tonight by Madonna, Ft. Justin and Produced by Timbaland (and his minions). I just like the slow groove of this joint, and its probably one of the most melodious Timbaland produced tracks we’ve heard in a long time. Imagine if the lead artist could actually sing! [[No Offense]]

Enjoy.

The Boss Has Arrived.

Not to sound at all arrogant, mind you. I have plenty to learn about the blogosphere. However, by the end of April / beginning of May, I should have this blog up and running rather smoothly. So I dedicate my first post to… me!
